( Forever wasn't very long... )I really love strange, old things. Antiques and stuff. Especially when you can wear them, and they involve things like lace/beads/pretty colorful gems/etc.
Conversely I also love Cyberdog stuff because it reminds me of those terrible old science fiction films from back in the 60's(ish).
So basically, I am in a conflict of fashion. Dark dresses borrowing lavish concepts from Victorian times are part of me, but so are silly space girl outfits that look like they came straight out of some old episode of Doctor Who.
(I am currently in possession of the clothes to make up either style.)
The thing I have decided I
don't particularly like, strangely enough, are the styles you generally see kids wearing just after spending all their allowance money at Hot Topic and other such places. It's no secret that I don't really like emo styles, but even HT goths aren't always the most interesting looking as far as I'm concerned.
Not that I'm dumping on the people who wear a lot of that stuff; if you like it then I think it's awesome that you have the guts to wear it if you do. And there's nothing wrong with grabbing some accessories or other random bits and pieces from shops like that. But it's *so* much more interesting to either sew your own clothes, or just use random stuff found at charity/secondhand/etc shops.
BTW Sweeney Todd moodtheme = made of awesome.
